- Upper School is a college-preparatory high school for young women, with resident and day students in Grades 9-12.
Lower School is co-educational, with day students in Grades PreK-8.
Summer at Santa Catalina is for girls 8-14 years of age and serves both resident and day campers. - Who
- Santa Catalina is an independent Catholic school, dedicated to the education of young people by giving careful consideration to the individual abilities and potential of each student. Our goal is to balance intellectual growth with spiritual awareness, creativity with order, and individuality with compassion. We work to deepen each student's sense of responsibility to oneself, to others, to school, and to God. We encourage the spiritual growth of students of all faiths through worship, religious study, and community service. Our entire program seeks to nurture in each student both personal growth and an awareness of community and global needs.

- Santa Catalina School is located 125 miles south of San Francisco on the Monterey Peninsula, which traces its heritage back to Spanish colonial California and which today is a professional and recreational community of 185,000.

- Average class size Grades 3-5: 25 students with 1 full-time teacher, 1 half-time assistant

- Santa Catalina School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and is a member of the California Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools, The Association of Boarding Schools, the National Catholic Educational Association, and the National Coalition of Girls' Schools.
