Directions to Santa Catalina School

Traveling from the North/San Jose
From Highway 101 South, take the Monterey Peninsula/Highway 156 West exit. After approximately 6 miles, follow signs for Highway 1 South. Take Highway 1 South toward Monterey/Carmel for 13 miles to the Casa Verde Way exit. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Casa Verde Way and go three blocks to the Monterey Fairgrounds. Turn right onto Fairgrounds Road and go through one traffic light. (After the light, Fairgrounds Road becomes Mark Thomas Drive.) Once through the traffic light, Santa Catalina School is approximately 300 feet ahead on the left. The school's driveway is marked by a large sign with a red tile roof. Turn left, into the driveway, and pass through the main gate.

If visiting the Lower School: Continue up the driveway, and turn left at the first available road (marked for Faculty and Staff parking). To your left will be parking spaces designated for Lower School Admission Office visitors. Opposite the parking spaces is a two-story building. On the south end of the two-story building is a set of stairs. Proceed up the stairs and the Lower School Office is the first door on your left.

If visiting the Upper School: Continue up the driveway, past your first left, and turn left into the main parking lot. Spaces for Upper School Admission Office visitors are marked by signs along the white stucco wall.

Traveling from the South/Salinas
From Highway 101 North, take the Monterey Peninsula exit in Salinas. Turn right onto Sanborn Road. After approximately 0.8 miles, Sanborn Road becomes East Blanco Road. Take East Blanco Road to the intersection of Highway 68 West (South Main Street) and turn left. Continue on Highway 68 for approximately 14 miles to the traffic light at Olmstead Road. Turn right on Olmstead Road and make an immediate left onto Garden Road. Follow Garden Road to its end and make a left at the traffic light (Fairgrounds Road/Mark Thomas Drive). From Highway 1 North, take the Aguijito Road/Mark Thomas Drive exit to Mark Thomas Drive. You will go though two stop lights and pass the Monterey Hyatt Regency on your right. Once past the Hyatt Regency, Santa Catalina School is approximately 100 feet ahead on the right. The school's driveway is marked by a large sign with a red tile roof. Turn right, into the driveway, and pass through the main gate.
