General Information

Pre-Kindergarten is a warm and welcoming place where children can feel secure as they embark upon their adventure in learning. We are a loving family, rich with traditions. The friendships we begin here-among teachers, students, and parents alike-endure far beyond our children's school years.

We encourage our students in all areas of development-intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Because we believe that children learn by "doing," we make available to them many opportunities each day for active involvement with real-life materials.

The children are the focus of the curriculum. We respect each student's unique combination of abilities, interests, and cultural background. We encourage the children to take risks and to try new solutions to problems without fear of making a mistake.

In our daily interactions, we model kindness and compassion, as well as respect for each other's differences. We believe that these qualities, born at home and nurtured in the classroom, will help them to become thoughtful and caring individuals as they grow to maturity.
