Constitution and BylawsArticle IName and Purpose Section I. The organization will be known as the “Santa Catalina Service league.” Section II. The Purpose of the League will be to perform services for Santa Catalina School as proposed by the School Administration. Article II Officers The Service League is composed of an Executive Board consisting of the Executive Committee and the Service Committee. The Executive Committee has five (5) appointed officers: President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and Treasurer. The Service Committee consists of the following appointed chairpersons: Membership, Hospitality, Uniforms, Mailing, Upper School Representative, Lower School Representative, Historian, Welcoming Tea, Bus Trip, APPLE Program, Flyers and e-Scrip, and other co-chair persons as deemed necessary. Selection Officers are appointed by the Service League Executive Committee and the Santa Catalina School Administration and will be installed in May. Article III Membership Membership is open to persons interested in Santa Catalina School who desire to offer their services on a regular basis. There is a single level of membership. All members have the right to vote on Service League matters, may participate in Service League activities, and are eligible to hold office in Service League, and will receive copies of Service League minutes. All members are required to pay a $20 membership fee. Article IV Meetings A General Meeting will be held once a month during the school year; the first meeting being held in September. An Executive Board Meeting may be called at the request of the President or the School Administration. Article V Amendment Articles of Sections of the Constitution may be repealed or amended at any regular meetings by a two-thirds (2/3) of the votes cast. |
