Musical Theatre Workshop: This summer The Music Man will be our camp musical. The Musical Theatre Workshop is open to all girls who attend the five-weeksession. Every weekday morning, 9 a.m. to noon, students rehearse on stage in the school’s Performing Arts Center. Roger Thompson, the director of performing arts at Santa Catalina, is joined by Anne Marie Hunter as the choreographer. Together they provide instruction on the techniques of stage presence, acting, singing, and dancing. Every girl who chooses this workshop will take part in a full-scale production of the musical presented for family and friends on Closing Day.

Intermediate Springboard Diving: Here is an opportunity to build on current diving skills and master more difficult dives! Girls must be able to swim one width of the pool with ease.
Tennis Program Overview: All tennis classes begin with a combination of footwork drills, running, and core training, presented in a fun and productive way. The initial part of each class is spent warming up and building skills to improve agility, speed, and endurance.
- Beginning/Emerging Player: This class is for students with either no tennis training or with very little exposure to the sport. This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of stroke production and footwork in an engaging and fun manner while building new tennis skills.
- Intermediate Player: This class is for students with some previous tennis training who would like to continue to improve their stroke production and footwork.
- Tennis Clinic: Intermediate/Advanced: This class is for the player who has already had a consistent amount of instruction and is schooled in footwork and stroke fundamentals. Time will be spent on improving existing strokes and movement as well as on building a basic knowledge of point construction and shot selection. This class has daily match play so a working knowledge of score keeping and serving is a must.
