"Both of our daughters loved their summers at Santa Catalina, where they made lifelong memories. Thank you to all who make the camp such a special, positive, fun and safe place for the girls." - a parent

Checks and Stripes
One of the many traditions at Summer at Santa Catalina is Check-Stripe competition. At the beginning of each camp session, every girl is assigned to one of two teams, the Checks (who wear green) or the Stripes (who wear red). The two teams compete in games throughout the session, and their friendly rivalry gives campers of all ages a chance to bond and learn from one another.

Big Sister - Little Sister
Another special part of camp is our Big Sister-Little Sister tradition, which pairs an older girl with each younger camper. The younger girls develop a special friendship with their Big Sisters, and the older girls, serving as leaders and mentors, take responsibility for helping to build a sense of community and camp spirit at camp.
