Sat, 9/15 - CrossCountry @ Stevenson Invitational 9:00 AM
SCS placed 2nd in Varsity, JV1 and JV2 races
Thu, 9/20 - CrossCountry @ MTAL Center Meet 4:00 PM
Varsity: Carmel 29 / SCS 37 / PCS 84; JV King City 23/ SCS 36 Erin Gall, Sam Bates, and Jackie Gollette placed 5th, 6th, and 7th and earned times which place them inside the SCS top-ten finishing times in school history. April Campos ran a personal best, and Dixie Cessa also earned valuable placing points for the team. Jaklyn Nunga won the JV race.
Thu, 9/27 - CrossCountry v. Carmel / Pacific Grove 4:00 PM
Varsity Carmel 25 / SCS 30; JV SCS 15 / Carmel 50; Varsity SCS 17 / PG 39; JV SCS 15 / PG 50. This was the fastest girls' meet ever run at Catalina's home course, Jack's Peak. The top five girls across the line broke the existing course record. Catalina's Erin Gall ran a blazing 17:15, and Sam Bates ran a superb 17:55. Jackie Gollette came within three seconds of also breaking the record. Erin, Sam, Jackie, and April all now hold places in the all-time top ten list at Jack's Peak for their performances this year.
Thu, 10/4 - CrossCountry @ Stevenson 4:00 PM
Varsity SC 24 / RLS 31; SCS 20 / KC 35; JV KC 19 / SC 36. Catalina defeats Stevenson and King City in varsity race, with the top four varsity runners hitting the finishing line together to take 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. JV Runners Abigail Alvarez, Annabelle Audet-Griffin, and Sarah Rudolph come across the line in 5th-8th positions for the JV race but are defeated by a determined JV squad from King City.
Sat, 10/6 - CrossCountry @ Pacific Grove Invitational 10:00 AM
Catalina runners dominate PG Invitational. Meet is run by "classes" rather than JV and Varsity. Frosh Jackie Gollette won the frosh race, April Campos places 2nd in the sophomore race, and Erin Gall dominates the junior race. Catalina fielded the largest team, and many JV runners also significantly improved their times.
Thu, 10/11 - CrossCountry @ King City 4:00 PM
Varsity SCS 23 / KC 38; Frosh Jackie Gollette wins race outright- followed closely by Erin Gall, Sam Bates, and April Campos. Jaklyn Nunga, Calyx Gaston, and MIchelle Laagana rounded out impressive varsity performances in King City.
Thu, 10/18 - CrossCountry @ MTAL Center Meet 4:00 PM
Varsit SCS 29 / RLS 45 / KC 75; JV 28 / KC 30; JV and Varsity both win the MTAL Center Meet. Varsity runners Erin Gall, Jackie Gollette, Sam Bates, April Campos, Jaklyn Nunga, and Michelle Lagana placed 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 19th, and 25th overall. JV runner Abigail Alvarez won the JV race outright.
