SAT and ACT Information

SAT (SAT and Subject Tests)
•    Register online at www.collegeboard.com and print admission document.
•    Paper registration forms are available in the college resource room. An admission ticket will be sent through the mail.
•    Register early to avoid late charges and reserve first choice test centers.
•    Include the Santa Catalina school code 052045 so that the school receives a copy of the report.
•    The primary test center is Seaside High School, center code 05-798. A bus will be arranged for all resident students. Alternate test centers may be more convenient for day students.
•    Always check admission document for accuracy.

ACT
•    Register online at www.actstudent.org and print admission document.
•    Paper registration forms are available in the college resource room. An admission ticket will be sent through the mail.
•    Unlike the SAT, the writing portion of the ACT is optional. It is strongly recommended to register so that scores are acceptable to all colleges.
•    Register early to avoid late charges and reserve first choice test centers.
•    Include the Santa Catalina school code 052045 so that the school receives a copy of report.
•    The primary test center is Hartnell College in Salinas, center code 002800. A bus will be arranged for all resident students. Alternate test centers may be more convenient for day students.
•    Always check admission document for accuracy.

What to bring on test day
•    Picture ID (Santa Catalina School ID, driver’s license or passport)
•    Two number 2 pencils and a good eraser
•    Acceptable calculator with fresh batteries
•    For Language Listening Subject Test in November only: an acceptable CD player with headphones
•    Check websites for more details

Note: Non-standard testing arrangements (such as extra time) are made through the Upper School Office prior to the registration deadline.
