Student Life at Santa Catalina Upper School

At Santa Catalina Upper School, we recognize that while academics are important, students also come together for another type of learning when instruction ends. An amazing array of activities, clubs, and organizations are available to our students that allow them to stretch their creative wings while enjoying friendships that will last a lifetime. From whale watching on Monterey Bay to shopping on Cannery Row to hiking in Big Sur to watching a San Francisco Giants baseball game, there are activities here for all.

Organizations and clubs are just as varied, with groups of Brit Lit and En Guard (fencing) students vying with Cougar Boosters and PEMDA (Math Club) students for new members. See the Clubs and Organizations and After School pages for more information.

Santa Catalina also has highly anticipated traditions: Father-Daughter Weekend, Ring Week, Candlelight Mass, Big Sister/Little Sister, Cake Auction, and the Senior Rafting Trip among them. See On Campus for more information.
