In our Compass program, students are sorted into houses where eighth-graders serve as leaders, guiding younger students on journeys of self-discovery and spiritual development.
Student Life
A truly meaningful community.
What happens outside the classroom is every bit as important as what happens in it. Field trips that inspire wonder. Service projects that encourage responsibility. Character education that starts students on a journey of self-discovery. We give our students all the space they need—to play, to learn, and to grow.
Field trips are a fact of life here, from visits to local organizations to hiking historic California Gold Rush sites to overnight trips in grades four through eight.
Inspired by our Catholic roots, we encourage students to explore their spirituality, regardless of faith, through chapel services and morning prayers.
Catalina graduates leave with confidence in themselves thanks to the community they are cultivated in.
