Santa Catalina seeks an innovative and outstanding leader to become our Director of Enrollment Management. The Director of Enrollment Management is a senior administrative position, reporting to the Head of School, and will serve as a member of the school’s Leadership Team. The Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for providing creative vision and dynamic oversight for all student recruitment operations, managing all re-enrollment and retention efforts, and achieving enrollment goals of mission-appropriate students. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to coordinate a program that will effectively attract, enroll, and retain qualified students for our school.

The Director of Enrollment Management works closely with the Director of Upper School Admission, the Director of Lower and Middle School Admission, and the Director of Tuition Assistance. While effectively delegating responsibility for some areas of the enrollment management process, the Director of Enrollment Management will be knowledgeable about all aspects of the position, including, but not limited to, all communications, outreach, and marketing efforts; re-enrollment and retention strategies, including the strategic distribution of tuition assistance; and by applying elements of Santa Catalina's Strategic Plan 2012, use data-driven metrics to measure and improve the enrollment and retention processes to achieve the enrollment targets.

A successful candidate will have a track record of thinking creatively and strategically about the student recruitment and enrollment processes; experience in admission, communications analysis, and various media strategies; and knowledge and experience in marketing at schools similar to Santa Catalina. The new director will be a superb communicator and collaborator; will be highly organized, authentically outgoing, and independent; and has both the flexibility to travel and an easily accessible sense of humor. Preferred qualifications for this position include at least five years of experience in admission, financial aid, or a position closely aligned with this opportunity.

Santa Catalina is an independent Catholic school located on the Monterey Peninsula and approximately 120 miles south of San Francisco. The Upper School is a college-preparatory high school for young women, with 120 boarding and 142 day students in grades 9 to 12. The Lower and Middle Schools are coeducational, with 257 day students in PreK through grade 8.
