Grade 12 Experience

Seniors at Santa Catalina become leaders on campus and role models for younger classmates. As they begin their college application process and prepare for life after Catalina, seniors hand down leadership responsibilities and act as mentors to ensure that their successors—whether lacrosse captain, Catalinan editor, or Spanish Club president—continue to lead boldly and gracefully.

Leadership
Roles

In their final year at Santa Catalina, many students serve as officers and captains for the clubs, sports, and organizations in which they’re involved. As they prepare to say goodbye to classmates, teachers, and teammates, seniors work to leave behind a legacy of strong leadership.

Preparing for College

Between gathering recommendation letters and keeping up with application deadlines, senior year is a whirlwind of preparation and anticipation. Each senior works closely with the college counselor throughout the year to ensure that, come May, she’ll be ready to enroll in the right school for her.
