Advisors

Through our Journey program, students are assigned a faculty advisor. Advisors serve as mentors, counselors, advocates and facilitators. Besides being a general source of support, through one-on-one monthly advising sessions an advisor helps an advisee build a robust POINTS Portfolio, create an academic plan, set goals, record personal growth and achievements, and develop valuable leadership skills.

In addition to teaching and advising students, advisors coach sports teams, participate in school organizations, clubs, and publications, and chaperone evening and weekend activities.

Resident Faculty advisors welcome students into their homes to talk, watch movies, and catch up on the day's activities. Advisors also act as liaison between school and the family.

In addition, the Dean of Students, Dean of Studies, and the Upper School administrative team offers support for students.
