2017 Spring Art Salon

 

You're invited to be charmed, dazzled, and amazed at the vibrant artwork created by the young artists in Kindergarten through Grade 8 at the 2017 Spring Art Salon. Please join us for a special viewing for friends and families in the Lower and Middle School Assembly Room and Hallway Gallery, following the Spring Concert on May 25.

Spring Concert

This year's theme for the Spring Concert is "The Magic of Musicals." The concert will take place Thursday, May 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the PAC. No special costumes are required this year, so all students should come in their usual concert attire. Order DVD.

Grade 6 Presents Plastics Project at Aquarium

Six students in Grade 6 who worked to reduce plastic use in our school presented their project at the Ocean Plastic Pollution Summit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium on April 29. The sixth-grade theme for the 2016-17 school year has been to raise awareness about the plastic problem in our school community. Students Shine at Annual Mathletics Contest

Twelve students, three from each grade level 5-8, sharpened their pencils and their math skills to participate in the 49th annual Mathletics competition on May 13. Overall, six students earned Honorable Mentions, which means they placed in the top 10 percent of their age group in Monterey County. Grade 3 Completes Woodworking Project

During their Technology Class, third-graders planned, researched, designed, and then sanded, hammered, glued, and painted delightful wooden boxes, each of which represented their Biography Night characters. Read more.
