Dear Alumnae,
I have hit the road this week as our chapter gatherings begin in earnest. We are doing things a little differently this year, pairing many of our gatherings with admission receptions for prospective students. As you get excited about seeing fellow alumnae in your town, I hope you will also share the admission receptions with friends and family to invite them to learn more about the Catalina journey.
You will find more information about these events below, as well as a few more news items and a little treat for those of you celebrating your reunion this year. I look forward to seeing you!

Chapter Gatherings and Admission Receptions
Admission Receptions
This year, Santa Catalina's Admission and Alumnae Relations offices are joining forces to host admission receptions followed by alumnae gatherings. These events are scheduled around boarding school fairs where Santa Catalina will participate.
We encourage you to reach out to your network of family and friends and share our receptions with them. We would be happy to include families with girls who are interested in Summer at Santa Catalina (ages 8-14) as well. Click the button below for a schedule of receptions and to RSVP.
Chapter Gatherings
After the admission receptions, we host our traditional alumnae gatherings, which allow for opportunities to network and hear updates on school. Here's what's coming up soon.
Reunion 2018
We are beyond excited to welcome classes ending in 3 and 8 back to Santa Catalina for the 2018 Reunion on March 23–24. To feed your nostalgia, we have compiled a list of the top 25 songs from your graduating year. We hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane!
Giving News
New additions to the Health and Wellness team
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Hulme as Santa Catalina's first Director of Health and Wellness. Liz is a familiar face on campus as the mother of Betsy '14, sister of Virginia Apple Reeves '89, and a former member of the board of trustees. Joining her will be Bonnie Bufkin, mother of Jaden Sissem '17 LS, as a guidance counselor. Read more

Become a class agent
The Santa Catalina Fund relies on an active group of volunteers that is critical to increasing alumnae participation and fundraising success. We are so grateful for the time, talent, and hard work these alumnae share with us. If you would like to become involved you could:
- Be a class agent. Class agents perform a vital role by keeping classmates connected to school. They promote the importance of annual giving, and lead by example with their own gifts to the Santa Catalina Fund.
- Be a reunion class agent. Reunion class agents are alumnae representatives celebrating their reunion who reach out to classmates to encourage increased participation in the Santa Catalina Fund in honor of reunion.

Santa Catalina Today
TEDxSantaCatalinaSchool
TEDxSCS takes place on Thursday, November 9. The theme is "Voices of the World." Recordings of each talk will be available after the event, so keep an eye out!
