Yes, financial aid is available. In general, about 37 percent of students receive tuition assistance each year. We encourage families to apply if an education at Santa Catalina School would not otherwise be affordable for their children.

Financial aid is based on a family’s ability to pay tuition. Families complete an application for tuition assistance, which is separate from the admission application. Awarded financial aid is similar to a grant and is not a loan.

If your family recently received orders to move to Monterey and you missed our priority deadline, your daughter can still apply to Santa Catalina. We recommend you start your search process before you make a permanent change of service. Please contact the Admission Office at 831.655.9356 and specify that you are a military family, and we will assist you with the application process.

Yes, as a fully accredited independent college-preparatory school, credits earned at Santa Catalina are easily transferred to other schools.

Santa Catalina girls are naturally welcoming. Every new student is paired with a “big sister” who helps her get engaged in the school, and we have fun activities to help new students connect. When you attend a school with boarding and day students, you are joining a community of students from around the country and the world. With students coming from so many places, everyone is excited to meet new people and make friends.
