Class Descriptions
Summer 2023
Our summer camp class offerings and descriptions are available per session below. We are excited to offer a wide variety of class options and for campers to identify their top preferences. Each registered camper will fill out a Camp Class Preference Form, which will be available in your camper portal beginning May 22. Most campers receive classes in their top three preferences; however, class placements are not guaranteed.
Additional class options that are fee-based—golf, horseback riding, sailing, and surfing—are registered using the Additional Class Option Form now available on your camper portal.
Classes are held Monday-Thursday. Morning classes are two weeks long, while afternoon classes are one week long, with campers choosing new afternoon classes for their second week while at camp. Some afternoon classes are two weeks long to allow campers ample experience and instruction time (e.g. Ceramics: Handbuilding, Surfing).
Campers attend their first day (Monday) of class according to their schedule. Campers have the opportunity to change their morning classes after the first day; however, we encourage them to stay in their afternoon classes because they switch into something new the second week.
