Libraries
The Santa Catalina School library's mission is to foster an appreciation of literature and to encourage students to reach their full potential as informed citizens of the world and responsible users and creators of information and ideas.
Library staff is available to provide assistance and instruction and is happy to help students and teachers do research and find good books to read.
Lower School Library
Students in PreK to Grade 5 use this library, affectionately known as the Treehouse, for classes and events—including the always popular Pajama Story Night. The collection includes 5,000 volumes of books, periodicals, audiobooks, and DVDs. With computers, a fireplace, lounge area, and plenty of natural light, the Lower School Library is a cozy place to read and learn.
Sister Mary Kieran Library
This library, used by Middle School students, contains a collection of more than 20,000 volumes of books, periodicals, and videos. Computers, carrels, joint study areas, and lounge areas make this library perfect for group or individual study.
