The Santa Catalina Middle School athletics program introduces students to organized sports and provides them an opportunity to experience competitive league play while proudly representing our school.

We encourage all students in Grades 6 through 8 to participate in our after-school sports program. All students who sign up to play are kept on a team and may participate in multiple sports during the same season. Our goal is to give each student a chance to play, cultivate good sportsmanship, and become team players.
 



Meet Our Athletic Director

Barry Panes took over as Catalina’s Middle School Athletic Director in 2021 after nearly 20 years in the same position at Junipero Serra School. He has also coached the Upper School track and field team since 2014, earning the CCS Honor Coach Award.
