Getting Involved
Santa Catalina Fund Parent Volunteer
Parent volunteers are an invaluable component of the Santa Catalina Fund drive. Volunteers serve as liaisons between the Development Office and alumni, parents, and friends of school. Volunteers communicate the purposes of the Santa Catalina Fund, encourage participation, and acknowledge our supporters throughout the year.
Celebrate Santa Catalina
An annual tradition, Celebrate Santa Catalina (formerly known as the Annual Benefit Celebration) brings families and friends together to celebrate the best of Santa Catalina. Enjoy a strolling dinner, cocktails, beer and wine, special auction opportunities, music, and dancing. This beautiful and lively celebration of school is made possible by the volunteer efforts of countless parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the school. Proceeds support tuition assistance as well as programs and activities that encourage all students to explore new possibilities and expand their interests. Volunteering on the Celebrate Santa Catalina planning committee is a great way to be involved in the life of the school.
Carnival
Children and parents alike look forward to the springtime Carnival as a family day of fun that benefits the Lower and Middle School. Volunteers assist with fundraising activities including a benefit drawing, class booths, clothing sales, food booths, rides, and more. Serving on a Carnival committee is a great way to meet other parents while enhancing your child’s experience at school.
Golf Tournament
The Santa Catalina Golf Tournament is held each fall in the run-up to Parents' Weekend. The event includes a buffet dinner, awards presentation, and mini-auction. The tournament is coordinated by the Development Office, and all proceeds benefit the athletic program.
Santa Catalina Parents Association
The Parents Association supports the Lower and Middle School through a number of volunteer projects and activities including the Faculty-Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Carnival, Christmas Luncheon, used uniform sale, and more. All parents are members and are welcomed to participate in activities and projects throughout the year. The group meets monthly.
