What inspires me most is helping to foster a positive foundation for children to become the courageous leaders our future needs.

Mrs. Silk became Catalina’s full-time PreKindergarten assistant teacher in 2022 after serving as a classroom substitute and volunteer. Before getting into teaching, she worked in the medical profession managing an out-patient surgery center. Originally from the East Bay, she enjoys spending time with her family, working on puzzles, and creating art projects with her children, who both attend the Lower School. They have two chihuahua mixes, Bilbo Waggins and Taco. Her favorite thing about teaching is watching the excitement on students' faces as they explore a new concept or learn a new skill.
