Faculty & Staff Profiles
Ms. Chaney loves making transportation a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for students and staff. She interacts daily with the students, whether driving a school bus, tagging along on field trips, or even teaching Upper School girls a thing or two about auto repair. She came to Santa Catalina in 2014 after a couple of years at a local school district and more than 20 years at a district in Visalia. In 2011, Gov. Jerry Brown presented her with California’s Activist of the Year award. She and her husband, Tim, have seven grown children and two granddaughters. Ms. Chaney enjoys walking and going to the movies, and adores all animals, especially cats.
