Cougars gearing up for annual JDRF service project

On September 20, Kaitlin '21, '17 LS visited Santa Catalina Lower and Middle School assemblies to kick off the annual JDRF service project. Kaitlin shared her experience living with type 1 diabetes, reminding the Cougar community how much an organization like JDRF changes lives.

Students, faculty, families, and friends will be walking as one Cougars Care team on Sunday, October 6, in the JDRF One Walk at Lovers Point in Pacific Grove. In the past six years, the team has raised $39,903 and had a total of 1,063 walkers.

To join the team, register online or in person starting at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the walk. All walkers should arrive at Lovers Point at 8:45 a.m. for a team photo. All members of the Cougar family are encouraged to wear their Catalina gear (t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.) as an expression of their support and pride in coming together for this cause.

For those who can't walk, donations are also accepted.
