Fall sports athletes celebrated at pep rally

Santa Catalina Lower and Middle School's fall sports teams were celebrated during a pep rally on December 7, with three students from each team receiving special awards.

The Cougar Award goes to the student who promotes sportsmanship, ethical play, and commitment to their team throughout the season. This student is a great teammate, a coachable player, a hard worker, and always puts "team" first.

The Most Improved award goes to the student who has made the most improvement throughout the season.

The Coach's Award is given to the student who has contributed most to the team, has a strong knowledge of the sport, has constantly pushed themselves to get better, and whose work ethic is respected by both coach and team.
