Santa Catalina Lower and Middle School students welcomed special visitors to campus on October 19 for Grandparents and Grandfriends Day.
After a welcome Mass and a light breakfast, guests joined the students in their classrooms for a variety of activities. They practiced Spanish, solved math problems, made hand turkeys, did word searches, read books, and even danced! Afterwards, they enjoyed a picnic lunch and a three-song performance by all of the students.
Grandparents and Grandfriends Day happens every two years, making it an event to truly treasure. See photos from the event on SmugMug.
