Resident Camper Sample Schedule

Breakfast

From the dorms, campers head to breakfast with their counselors. The energy for the day is set with a delicious breakfast buffet, including a hot meal as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more. The seating is assigned and each table is a mix of campers from all age groups with a counselor. Each week the table seating is changed to give campers the chance to connect with more members of our community.

Morning Classes

Three hours of fun-focused classes! Campers in Horseback Riding and Musical Theatre are engaged in their classes for the entire three-hour block. Otherwise, campers fill this time with three uniquely exciting classes.

Lunch

Lunch is served buffet style in our dining room and includes a hot, main meal with additional options such as fruit and a salad bar. Counselors, teachers, and campers all enjoy lunch together and it’s a lively time complete with singing, cheering, and hand clapping games!

Rest Hour

After lunch, all campers and counselors make their way to the dorms for some down time. Campers rest, read, write letters, visit with counselors and each other, do crafts, or play music. Girls who are headed off campus for afternoon classes leave the dorms at 12:55 to catch the bus. Otherwise, campers unwind in the dorms until the next class starts at 1:30 p.m.

Afternoon classes

Three more hours of exciting classes! Campers in Horseback Riding, Surfing, or Golfing will be off campus for all three afternoon class periods. Otherwise, campers choose three more classes. Three days a week, campers partake in a longstanding, favorite camp tradition: Popsicle Break!

Free Time

During this time, girls grab friends and go to the Camp Office, the pool, the camp store, the front lawn, or the dorms. This is a camper’s time to spend doing her favorite things with new and old camp friends.

Dinner

Rejoining their table from breakfast, campers and counselors discuss their day and eat another delectable meal together. Dinner is served buffet style, with fruit and salad bar options. During this time, evening announcements are made and camp gears up for the evening activity.

Evening Activity

Each evening there is an organized and entertaining activity. These activities involve the whole camp, including counselors, and can be a beach bonfire, a fight for pride in a Checks vs. Stripes challenge, or a tradition like Granny Bingo.

Lights Out

Campers end each day with a group meeting in the dorms. The group talks about their day, plans for the next day, and gets ready for bed. Bedtime varies by age group.
