Information for Winter 2020-21
Santa Catalina is built on relationships. Whether we’re on campus or at home, we are committed to maintaining the strength and vibrancy of our community while also ensuring everyone’s health and safety.

We are distance learning
California has adopted a tiered system for determining whether schools may reopen, based on a county's COVID-19 risk level. Monterey County is currently on the tier that prevents schools reopening to in-person instruction. For more information, see California's Blueprint for a Safer Economy.
Several Grade 9 students are receiving distance instruction while in small, on-campus cohorts.
This year, high school sports in California begin in mid-December, with fall sports delayed until the winter or spring. Catalina is providing sport-specific conditioning and training options for all of our athletes in this off-season.
We have received permission for day students to participate in on-campus after-school activities: swimming technique, advanced swimming and water polo skills, strength and flexibility, and yoga.
We are prepared
When it is safe for us to reopen campus to students, we'll be ready.
