Santa Catalina School alumna Annie Aldrete throws ball as catcher for Tennessee softball team

Annie Aldrete '13

Annie, a talented catcher and powerful slugger, made four NCAA Tournament appearances as a student-athlete, first for Tennessee and then for Cal. On the national stage, she was a member of the USA Women's National Team in 2015 and the USA Women's Elite Team in 2016. She graduated from Cal with a bachelor of American studies, race, media and the business of sport in 2017. After college, Annie served as an assistant coach for CSU Monterey Bay for two years before joining North Carolina as a volunteer assistant coach.

Brita Sigourney '08

Brita is a two-time Olympic halfpipe skiier, finishing sixth at the 2014 games and earning a bronze medal at the 2018 games in South Korea. She is also a three-time X-Games medalist. Brita played water polo at Santa Catalina and attended UC Davis.

Allie Loomis '14

Allie was a four-year starter in water polo at UC Irvine, where she won two Big West titles and was nominated for the 2018 NCAA Woman of the Year. After graduating with a degree in business administration and a minor in film and media studies, she pursued her MBA at the University of New South Wales’ Australian Graduate School of Management. She is playing professionally in the Australian Water Polo League and working in marketing for Cluch, an Australian sports network.
