Learning Spaces
At Santa Catalina, learning goes beyond the classroom. Every corner of our campus invites inquiry and study, and learning extends even further to include the Monterey Bay. Click through the slideshow below to learn more about the learning spaces our students take advantage of every day.

THE MONTEREY PENINSULA
Science comes to life for students when they visit the Monterey Bay to complement their classroom studies in biology, chemistry, and physics.

SISTER MARY KIERAN LIBRARY
In the Sister Mary Kieran Library, students can read up on any subject that piques their interest by choosing from more than 20,000 books and periodicals and browse additional content in our collection of subscription databases
Mathematics and Science CENTER
Our new mathematics and science center houses laboratories and classrooms for exploration in both disciplines.
STUDY HALL
The Study Hall is a communal gathering place for our entire student body. Here, you will find students finishing assignments at their desk, in study groups on the stage, or relaxing and catching up on the couches.
ARTS FACILITIES
The light-filled art studio inspires our young painters, sculptors, and photographers, while aspiring performers shine on the stages of the Performing Arts Center and the Mary L. Johnson Recital Hall.
