MORNING / AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES
Whatever your interests, you and your daughter will certainly enjoy one of the activities listed below. Please bring any necessary equipment for Saturday’s activities that you are not renting.
Biking
9:30 a.m., $25.00 per person
Ride along the coastal bike trail and take in the sights.
Kayaking
9:30 a.m., $35.00 per person
Kayak the Monterey Bay and experience the beauty of this national marine sanctuary.
Paddle Boarding
9:30 a.m., $35.00 per person
See what it’s like to “walk on water.” Limited to the first 20 sign-ups.
Hiking
10:00 a.m.
Hike at Garland Ranch, one of the scenic spots on the Monterey Peninsula, and experience nature.
Riding
10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., $150.00 per person
Take a private horseback ride on the coast. Riding begins with the Monterey Bay Equestrian Center on the Salinas River State Beach. Space is limited and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. (Be advised, there is a 230-pound weight limit for riding.)
Carmel Food Tours
11:30 a.m., $149.00 per person
Three delicious hours of food and drink while touring beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea. At least 8 sign-ups are required.
Bowling
12:30 p.m., $17.00 per person
Bowl at Monterey Lanes and test your skills at getting a strike.
Poptarts & Pickles
1:00 p.m., $110.00 per person
Enjoy a jam and pickle tasting before learning to make your own poptarts and pickles. Space is limited to 12 sign-ups.
LUNCH
Dine wherever you and your daughter desire.
AFTERNOON
Do whatever you prefer after the morning activities. Fathers of seniors should attend the song rehearsal at 2:30 p.m. in the PAC. Join us at 3:30 p.m. for a delightful music recital in the Mary L. Johnson Recital Hall.
EVENING
Dinner
Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Dining Room, followed by awards.
Entertainment
At 7:30 p.m., enjoy the school’s production of Shrek The Musical in the Performing Arts Center. Then the dads of seniors will sing to their daughters. After the musical, boarding students return to the dorms to get some rest.
