Faculty & Staff Profiles
I love working with teenagers, and I learn so much from them each day. Creativity is limitless, and I am constantly inspired and awestruck by my students and their work.
Ms. Ball joined Santa Catalina’s art department in 2018. She grew up in Virginia and moved to Philadelphia after college, teaching at St. Joseph’s Preparatory School for Boys before heading to The Culver Academies in Indiana. She met her husband, Shay—a geologist and Dublin native—while teaching English for a year in South Korea. Ms. Ball enjoys traveling, road cycling, and hiking, and her artistic interests span pottery, drawing, and painting. She lives on campus with her two dogs, a Boxer named Luna the Lunatic and a rescued Border Collie mix named Carlo. She teaches Art 1, Art 3, and Digital Media, and is the yearbook advisor.
