I work to ensure that every student is part of an empowering, supportive community where she feels known, cared for, and inspired to discover who she is meant to be.

Mrs. Edson, a graduate of Santa Catalina, returned to her alma mater in 2018 as Head of Upper School. Previously, she spent 20 years at Presentation High School in San Jose, where she taught social studies, served as the academic scheduling coordinator, and, for 11 years, held the position of vice principal of academics. In addition to teaching high school, Mrs. Edson has taught college students as an adjunct instructor at Central Coast community colleges and as an associate professor at Santa Clara University. She and her husband have three children.
