We have the best students. They are eager and bright and care about doing well. They are open to help and love their school.

Ms. McAfee finds great honor in her roles as a learning specialist and curriculum director. “To be part of a child's education, especially when they have struggled, and to see them make connections and figure things out is a privilege that I don't take lightly.” Originally from Billings, Montana, she enjoys knitting, reading, and keeping up with her two sons. She has taught in both public and independent schools from elementary through high school, and has served on the governing board of a local charter high school. She loves that Catalina is dedicated to educating the whole child and raising people of character.
