I see in our alumnae the incredible women that our current students will become in the future.

Dr. Brenot returned to the classroom after serving for three years as the Head of Upper School and six years as Assistant Head of Upper School. Born and raised in Carmel, she graduated from Santa Catalina in 1987. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in Monterey, her D.E.A. and Ph.D. in Paris, and taught at a private university in Peru before returning to Catalina in 2002 as a world languages teacher and department chair. Not surprisingly, she loves to travel and study foreign languages, and especially enjoys researching her family’s genealogy. She and her husband, originally from Paris, have a son who is a student in the Lower and Middle School and a daughter who graduated from the Upper School in 2017 and now attends the University of Southern California. Dr. Brenot is a past recipient of Santa Catalina’s Sister Carlotta Distinguished Service Award.
