Margaret Bradley

Titles: Head of School
Degrees: B.A., English with a concentration in law, University of Massachusetts
M.Ed., Vanderbilt University

We have been deeply inspired by the welcoming Santa Catalina School community and its remarkable history of educating young people to become responsible citizens of the world.

Ms. Bradley became Santa Catalina’s fourth head of school in 2016, and is the first lay person to hold the position. She has more than 30 years of experience in educational leadership, financial management, and fundraising, including long stints at Cate School in Carpinteria, California, and Metairie Park Country Day School in New Orleans. In 2017, she joined the board of trustees of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE. Ms. Bradley was raised in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, about 40 miles north of Philadelphia, and attended an all-girls Catholic high school. She and her husband, George Choquette, have two adult children and one grandson and love hiking and exploring the Monterey area. They live on campus in the Carol Ann Read Head of School House.
