Freshman wins award in Monterey County Mock Trial competition

Santa Catalina School freshman Rachel Ibrahim won an award for Outstanding Prosecution Witness at the Monterey County Mock Trial competition.
This year’s case involved an attorney who was accused of killing the CEO of the medical technology company he worked for. Catalina’s mock trial team, which saw a number of freshmen participate, studied the case since September. They went up against seven other schools in six days of competition.
