Lara Yuan '23 wins league singles title in tennis

Santa Catalina School tennis player Lara Yuan ’23 won the Pacific Coast Athletics League Gabilan Division singles title.
Lara won with a straight-set decision against a player from Salinas in the PCAL finals on November 3. The senior has been a force on the court, going undefeated all season at No. 1 singles.
She will compete in the Central Coast Section singles championships on November 14.
Lara helped propel the Cougars to a 9-1 record and a spot in the CCS team championships starting November 9 against Crystal Springs.
