Local paper recalls athletic legacy of Fox sisters

Three Santa Catalina School alumnae athletes—the Fox sisters—were profiled in the December 18 issue of the Carmel Pine Cone.

Taylor '10, Madison '15, and McKinley '18 were volleyball and basketball standouts for the Cougars from 2006 to 2018, "inflicting mass destruction upon opponents ... and chiseling their names into the school record books."

The article details their record-setting stats, championship titles, league honors, and their college careers. Download the December 18 issue here; the article starts on page 29.

Taylor went on to play basketball at Colorado State Pueblo on a full-ride scholarship, switching to volleyball in her senior season. While earning her MBA at Georgia Southern, she served two seasons as a graduate assistant for women's basketball.

Madison focused on basketball as a Cougar and was honored as USA Today's "Prep of the Week" in her junior year. She passed up opportunities to play college ball, earning a business marketing degree from University of Nevada Reno.

McKinley is the starting setter at Marist College in New York City, where she has also earned all-academic honors.
