It is such an honor to be able to help kids not only learn academics, but also help them become good citizens.

Mrs. Fernandez joined the PreK classroom in 2022. She previously taught reading intervention at the elementary school level in her native San Diego, and has taught first and second grade. She enjoys going to the beach, reading, watching her two daughters play sports, and taking walks with her dogs, an American bulldog and an Alaskan Malamute. The family also has a pet hamster. Mrs. Fernandez hopes to instill in her students the desire to create a better community.
