Camp Schedule
From Monday to Thursday, campers follow a daily schedule that balances engaging classes, fun evening programs, and meaningful community moments—all designed to help them explore their interests, nurture new friendships, and grow in confidence.
From Friday to Sunday, the schedule shifts to include more all-camp fun, with activities like water relays, all-camp free swim, field trips, Mass or Communion Service, and dorm night.

Musical Theatre
Summer at Santa Catalina offers a 5-week musical theatre program like no other! All campers who register for the program are cast in the show—whether they are new to the stage or not. From tech to set design to costumes to dance and performance, campers learn from the pros as they put on a show in our state-of-the-art 500-seat theatre.
Choosing their own schedule is an awesome opportunity for our campers! Campers select from a wide variety of classes such as STEM, arts and crafts, sports, cooking, and more. Classes are a great opportunity for campers to build community around a shared interest, teach and mentor each other, and learn new skills!
There are five class periods per day, with some classes lasting two periods. Morning classes are an hour and fifteen minutes to allow campers to focus on projects and build skills. Examples of these classes include ceramics, dance, art, and marine biology. Afternoon classes are 50 minutes and include activities such as bracelet making, water/field games, and ga-ga ball.
Additional Options
We offer three off-campus class options with local partner organizations: surfing, golf, and horseback riding. Campers can sign up for these options in the spring for an additional cost.
Summer Camp Daily LifeWe strongly believe in the power of girls and young women. That’s why we strive to give our campers leadership opportunities at every age! Campers entering grade 9 can take part in Catalina CREW: Confident Resourceful Empowered Women. These campers participate in an intentionally designed leadership class focused on identifying individual leadership styles and practicing communication skills. Campers gain hands-on leadership experience by planning and facilitating an all-camp program. Catalina CREW campers can opt to return in their 10th grade year as counselors-in-training.
