The Story of Santa Catalina School

This 75th Anniversary film chronicles the history of Santa Catalina School, honoring the people whose faith, courage, and leadership brought the school's vision to fruition, and those who continue to carry that vision forward. 50th Anniversary Video

Santa Catalina School celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2000. The Spirit of Santa Catalina was created as a memento of the occasion, featuring interviews—including Sister Carlotta—historical photos, and reflections from the 50th Anniversary celebration.

Behind the Scenes

Inspired by the beauty and legacy of Santa Catalina's campus and history, alumna Katie Finnegan Darnell ’72 helped create an Advent calendar to capture the unique and remarkable spirit of Catalina. Featuring 24 examples of fine art, decorative arts, campus landmarks, architectural details, and beloved school traditions, each window reveals a new surprise for the Advent season. The artwork is beautifully integrated on a hand-painted watercolor backdrop of the Hacienda, creating a timeless keepsake. Watch the video for an inside look at how the calendar was made.

Anniversary Garden Brick Campaign

Diamond Jubilee

The Santa Catalina School community came together on September 27, 2025, for the school's 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee on campus. The event opened with a program featuring speeches and student performances, then continued well into the evening with delicious food, live music, and dancing. The celebration was meaningful, memorable, and joyful. Thank you to the Board of Trustees for their generosity in hosting such a significant milestone for Santa Catalina School.

Replace a Class Ring

Class rings are symbolic of alumnae’s time on campus. If you are in need of a replacement, email Jostens with your name and class year, and mention that you are a Santa Catalina School graduate. They will provide you with an order form and ship the ring to your address.
