Classes & Daily Schedule

Choosing their own schedule is an awesome opportunity for our campers! Campers select class preferences from a wide variety of classes ranging from STEM, arts, and crafts to sports, cooking, and more. There are five class periods per day, with some classes lasting two periods.

Musical Theatre lasts two class periods every morning and spans five weeks of camp. Campers wishing to participate in the musical (cast only) must register for Session 4.

Morning and Afternoon Classes

Morning classes (Classes 1 and 2) are an hour and fifteen minutes to allow campers to take classes focused on projects and building skills such as ceramics, dance, art, and marine biology.

  • Mini Camp campers take morning classes Monday-Friday.
  • Two-week campers take morning classes Monday-Friday during Week 1 and Monday-Thursday during Week 2.

Afternoon classes (Classes 3, 4, and 5) are 50 minutes and provide campers an opportunity to take classes like crafts, bracelet making, water/field games, ga-ga ball, and more.

  • Mini Camp campers take afternoon classes Monday-Thursday.
  • Two-week campers take afternoon classes Monday-Thursday during Week 1 and switch into new afternoon classes for Week 2.

In late spring (usually May), we announce our class offerings to registered campers. Campers complete an activity preference form for class periods 1-4. Resident campers receive their class schedule their first night of camp and day campers receive their class schedule during day camp orientation. Campers have the option to request a schedule switch between their first full day of camp and second full day of camp.

Additional Options

We offer three off-campus class options with local partner organizations: surfing, golf, and horseback riding. Campers can sign up for these options in the spring for an additional cost. More information on each of these options is provided in the spring.

  • Surfing: Ride some waves in the beautiful Monterey Bay with the Wahine Project.
  • Golf: Practice your golf swing with Pebble Beach Golf Academy at one of the many beautiful golf courses on the Monterey Peninsula.
  • Horseback Riding: Enjoy riding lessons for various skill levels.

Sample Schedules

We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all of our campers, both day and resident, can have a fun and positive all-girls experience. Throughout our daily schedules, we balance our class, activity, and community moments to help campers build on their own interests, support budding friendships, and challenge them toward growth.
