Athletic Facilities

Santa Catalina offers top athletic facilities, including a gym, track, pool, and tennis courts. Students train in the Cougar Conditioning Center and enjoy off-campus workouts on the scenic Monterey Peninsula, with year-round outdoor activities thanks to the mild coastal climate.

By the Numbers

Whether you’re building skills in a sport you love or looking to try something new, Catalina’s athletics program inspires and challenges you to develop confidence, strength, endurance, and discipline. All in an environment where girls get 100 percent of the resources.

Alumna Athletes

Catalina athletes have gone on to compete in college in most of our core sports, as well as equestrian and rugby.

Meet the Athletic Director

Kendra Klein has spent much of her career coaching water polo and swimming at the college level, leading teams to championships at University of the Pacific and Santa Rosa Junior College. As director of the women’s water polo program at Pride Water Polo Academy, she qualified four youth teams for the 2016 Junior Olympics.

In college, Coach Klein was an All-American athlete in swimming and water polo at Santa Rosa Junior College and an NCAA DI All-American water polo player at CSU Northridge, where she competed on a full-ride scholarship.
