Which airport should I fly into?
To get to Monterey from SJC or SFO, you can take the Monterey Airbus, which will drop you off at the Monterey Shuttle Station in downtown Monterey.
The Monterey airport is close enough to take a taxi or an Uber/Lyft to your hotel or to campus. Click here for more transportation options from the Monterey airport.
Which hotels are hosting reunion attendees?
Santa Catalina has secured a discounted rate at the following hotels:
- Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel
This is a great option for those who want to be close to campus. We will also provide transportation to Celebrate Santa Catalina on Saturday, March 14.

How do I get around town?
Both Uber and Lyft are readily available in Monterey. It’s about $7.00 from downtown Monterey and $15.00 from Carmel to Santa Catalina.
If you are staying at the Hyatt, you can walk to campus and a school bus will pick you up to take you to Celebrate Santa Catalina at Folktale Winery in Carmel Valley.
Can I park on campus?
Parking is available on campus. We highly recommend carpooling or taking a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to cut down on congestion on Friday when school is in session.
Handicapped parking is also available. If you anticipate needing this, email Shannon Gaughf '08, Assistant Director of Alumnae/i Engagement, and she will ensure you have a spot, as well as assisted transportation around campus if needed.
Does the registration fee cover all activities?
Yes, we have one price for the weekend that allows you to attend all school-sponsored activities. Your off-campus class gatherings will be separate.
Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely! There will be a spot in your RSVP to indicate if you are bringing a guest, such as a spouse or partner. Please note: Guests are a separate fee.
How can I assist with planning my class’s Friday evening party?

The Reunion Challenge
There are three easy ways to make a reunion gift to the Santa Catalina Fund:
- Mail your donation to the Development Office: Santa Catalina School, 1500 Mark Thomas Drive, Monterey, CA 93940
- Call the Development Office at 831.655.9379.
- Give online.
Donations received after June 30, 2019, will count toward your reunion gift.

Celebrate Santa Catalina
Celebrate Santa Catalina is our newly rebranded Benefit Celebration. This is an event for the entire Catalina community, including all alumnae.
When: Saturday, March 14, 6:00–9:00 p.m.
Where: Folktale Winery in Carmel Valley
Cost: Ticket price is included in your reunion registration! You can also purchase additional tickets for guests/partners.
Because all alumnae are encouraged to attend, it’s a great opportunity for a reunion with your ring sister or other classmates who aren’t in your year.
There will be a strolling dinner (with a menu designed by celebrity chef Todd Fisher), cocktails, dancing, student performances, faculty in attendance, and some opportunities to support school in a really fun way.
