The Santa Catalina Fund
July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025
The Santa Catalina Fund is the engine that powers our daily operations. Tuition income alone does not cover all the costs of educating our students. The Santa Catalina Fund bridges the difference between tuition revenue and the cost of running the school. It allows Santa Catalina to sustain qualities that ensure a meaningful and purposeful student experience, including retaining talented teachers, maintaining a vibrant campus, and ensuring accessible tuition. That's why each year we rely on the generosity of the entire school community to support the Santa Catalina Fund. Your annual tax-deductible gifts go to work immediately and impact every corner of the campus.
Make a gift or pledge today! Pledges do not need to be paid until May 31, 2025!
Family of Funds
Greatest Need
Your contributions continue school's goal of graduating globally aware young women with skills and compassion to be exceptional citizens, thinkers, scholars, and leaders.
Technology
Your gifts provide students with leading-edge tools allowing them to discover, create, and explore in our ever-changing world.
Arts
Help students reach their greatest creative potential. Gifts to this fund provide enrichment and funding for productions, musical instruments, costume and set design, art supplies, and additional resources that encourage creative expression.
Athletics
All students are encouraged to participate in athletics, thereby reaping the benefits of reaching a personal best, good health, fun, and valuable lessons of sportsmanship. Gifts to this fund provide uniforms, travel expenses, equipment, and support the expansion of our athletic facilities.
Teaching and Learning
Your gifts to this fund provide ongoing professional development for faculty and staff, as well as enhancements to the curriculum. This advanced professional training translates into creative approaches to teaching that benefit our students.
Financial Aid
With our distinguished history of recognizing and encouraging diversity, our financial aid program is a key element in ensuring that Santa Catalina's learning environment remains both diverse and inclusive.
Parent Giving
Gifts to the Santa Catalina Fund from parents and our greater school community help support the “everyday magic” of Santa Catalina. Every year the Santa Catalina Fund parent campaign begins with a fall push. While our main message during this time is PLEDGE NOW, full payment is not due until June 30.
In recent years, participation from Santa Catalina parents has been growing. In 2022-23, 71% of parents contributed to the Santa Catalina Fund. This high level of support is essential when Catalina submits grant requests to foundations. Of course, increased participation across all grades is only possible because of our wonderful team of Santa Catalina Fund parent volunteers who reach out to their fellow parents each fall.
